Serenity
Serenity opens onto a sunlit Mediterranean terrace through three elegant arches. Beyond them, the sea stretches toward rugged shorelines and distant landforms beneath a clear blue sky. Shadows across the tiled floor give the architecture depth and a strong sense of place, while an amphora, flowering plant, turquoise jug and seashell bring smaller points of colour and intimacy into the foreground. The work builds its atmosphere through the contrast between the sheltered terrace and the open horizon, creating a quiet image of warmth, distance and unhurried coastal stillness.
