Echoes of Fate
Echoes of Fate explores chance, destiny and the unknown through a meeting of order and chaos. Oversized dominoes rise like ancient monuments inside a dreamlike landscape, while a winding path draws the eye through shifting sands and toward an uncertain distance. Familiar game pieces become architectural forms, changing both their scale and meaning. The work asks whether life is governed by randomness or whether some part of the path remains ours to choose. Its making followed a similarly intuitive logic: the composition was allowed to evolve organically, with unexpected details emerging during the process much as unforeseen events alter the direction of a life.
