Pressus Diptych
Pressus Diptych unfolds across two panels as a surreal desert landscape of monumental angular structures, hollow forms and scattered stone-like objects. A sweeping crescent-like form hangs among dark mountains while turquoise fragments and luminous blue fissures interrupt the earth-toned terrain. A small solitary figure introduces a human sense of scale, leaving the unfamiliar structures and their relationship to the landscape deliberately open to interpretation.
